Liability Waiver &
Animal Handling Release

Please read carefully before the event begins.

 

1. Nature of the Activity

By booking or participating in our reptile party, you acknowledge that interacting with live animals (including snakes, lizards, tortoises, and amphibians) carries inherent risks. While our animals are strictly selected for their calm temperament and are handled by a trained professional, animals can behave unpredictably.

 

2. Assumption of Risk

Participants (or their parents/guardians, if the participant is a minor) voluntarily assume all risks associated with animal handling, including but not limited to:

• Scratches, minor bites, or pinches.

• Allergic reactions to the animals, their bedding, or their food.

• Slips or trips during the presentation.

 

3. Safety Rules and Supervision

To ensure safety, all clients and guests must strictly follow these rules:

• Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.

• Participants must follow the handler's instructions exactly.

• Hands must be washed thoroughly with soap and water or sanitizer immediately after the presentation.

 

4. Release of Liability

Mack Exotics carries full commercial general liability insurance. However, by participating, you agree to release, waive, and hold harmless Mack Exotics, its owners, and employees from any and all liability, claims, or demands for personal injury, sickness, or property damage arising out of or in connection with the event, except in cases of gross negligence.

 

5. Media Consent (Optional)

 

[ ] YES, I give permission for Mack Exotics to take/use photos/videos taken during the event on their website or social media.

[ ] NO, I do not want photos/videos of this event shared publicly.
